Ted Sherman presents the Pen and Corrections Project

A situation happened yesterday that rendered me speechless. A rare event for this former prisoner with plenty to say, but Keef could tell it was down to pure delight even though I had tears in my eyes.

By now, I am sure you are aware of what our Pen and Corrections project is, don’t worry if not as here’s the link where you can support our project. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/pen-and-corrections-haiku-by-serving-prisoners.

I knew Ted had recorded a podcast a few weeks ago about Pen and Corrections, he also told Ollie and me it had gone really well. Just after quarter past two yesterday afternoon, Ted sent a message to our Pen and Corrections group chat, letting us know the podcast had now been uploaded to YouTube and Spotify.

You know what? I could now waffle on for thousands of words about what I watched, so rather than take my word for it, have a watch, or a listen, to Ted’s awesome chat with the host, Patricia McGuire, and his presentation about our fantastic Pen and Corrections project. A project which has quickly become the proudest thing someone has ever involved me in. Thank you, Ted and Ollie, and thank you to all of our supporters. I hope you enjoy the podcast as much as I did.

  1. I have to say David that was a thoroughly enjoyable half hour listening to a discussion between two people passionate about this topic and hearing some of the work. Congratulations to all concerned, and to be honest if you never do anything else in your life then this will have been a most worthwhile scheme upon which to retire as it will I am sure continue and grow.
PS Don’t think of not doing anything else in your life! It was a comment and not a suggestion! I know how much this means to you.
